Strangloscope is an experimental film festival understood in its expanded form, which includes screenings of experimental short films projected in video and/or film organized into sessions by the curators. The film programs are followed by discussions with the audience. Each session is accompanied by a curatorial text that provides the thematic, aesthetic, technical, and critical framework for the program presented. Besides the film and video screenings in the theater, the curators also propose video programs presented in audiovisual installations shown on five screens placed side by side with projected sound, audio installations, digital and/or film projection performances, as well as expanded cinema performances. In addition to the exhibited and presented works, Strangloscope also includes lectures on experimental cinema and the artistic processes of invited filmmakers, known as masterclasses, as well as theoretical and practical workshops conducted by the guests to facilitate the exchange and sharing of knowledge. The entire program is free of charge.

Strangloscope remains a non-competitive festival and in this 15th edition the theme is "A BOAT BETWEEN THE EYES - EXPERIMENTAL CINEMA BETWEEN MARGINS".
Digitally finalized film or video works that relate to the theme of this edition may be submitted. There is no requirement for the creation date of the entry.
