TaDA Textile and Design Alliance Artist-in-Residence Programme 2027

The TaDA Textile and Design Alliance Artist-in-Residence Programme invites six artists and creative professionals globally to develop innovative textile projects with leading companies and institutions in Eastern Switzerland. The three-month residency offers industry expertise, facilities, and mentorship for projects on textile culture, sustainability, and design, culminating in public presentations and the annual TaDA Spinnerei programme.

Rewards

• Three-month residency in Arbon, Switzerland (April–June or September–November 2027)

• Guidance from textile designer Martin Leuthold, the TaDA team, and experts

Eligibility

• Open to global artists and creative professionals from all disciplines

• Interest in textile production, culture, and sustainability

• Basic textile production knowledge is a plus

• Projects should be experimental

• Proposal must involve collaboration with TaDA partners

• Proficiency in English or German required
