Fast growing economy and society, short product life, quality deterioration, over-consumption, fast-fashion. My project aims to find innovative solutions to the current problems of the fashion industry and the world. The collection is based on the modernization of garments left over from my grandmother's trousseau, preserving essential details. The fabrics, textures and colours suggest sources of inspiration. The fabrics used in the collection are made from natural, sustainable materials that are long-lasting, practical and comfortable to wear. The working of the materials, embroidery, appliqué and crochet are based on personal observation.
