The composition was inspired by the unique atmosphere of the streets of Amsterdam and the changing movements of the river’s waves. In addition to representing specific water-like motions in the music, there is a significant emphasis on the abstract portrayal of different states of matter, highlighting the contrast between static and dynamic effects. The piece won two awards in 2023: third place in the Generace competition, and second in the Andor Neszlényi competition.
