MISSION AND GOAL
Asociația Off Space is a non-profit organisation in Odorheiu Secuiesc, founded by local artists with the aim to support the contemporary art scene in Odorheiu Secuiesc. After more than a year of operation, following the enrolment of new artists last year, the association is looking to expand its community with new members again this year.
From the very beginning, collective thinking and collaborative action has been a priority for our community. Now it's your turn! We would like to bring in new members to continue to develop what we have built up so far. We want to provide more support than ever before and show that it's worth it in Odorheiu Secuiesc.
WHO CAN APPLY?
This year, we are once again accepting applications for three local artists, designers, or architects from Odorheiu Secuiesc, as well as one emerging or early-career artist, designer, or architect from the national scene (Romania).
The program accepts applications from artists who:

are emerging artists*

are over 21 years of age, with no requirement to have a degree

have a maximum of 10 years of continuous experience in the visual arts
*by "emerging artists," we refer to those with less than 10 years of professional experience. We have chosen the term "emerging" instead of "young" because we also welcome applications from individuals who have recently made a career change or decided to prioritize their artistic practice in recent years, regardless of their age.

#1 Opportunities to participate in local and national exhibitions organised by Off Space Association
#4 Members will get an insight into the functioning of the organisation and with their unique point of views, we can further develop what was previously unknown and lacking in the life of Odorheiu Secuiesc: providing space for emerging and young artists and establishing a foundation for contemporary art
#3 We are constantly building networks in the background to connect our members with other organisations and associations, which will help their artistic development and give them the opportunity to be seen by a wider audience
#2 Participation in future calls for proposals for various financial support
